This is my favorite green bean for freezing and canning. The round pods are about 6" long, stringless and tender. The plants are very productive.
Oregon Blue Lake was once a popular bean for commercial production until the farmers switched to mechanically-harvested bush beans. But it's still a great choice for home gardeners because it's easy to pick from a trellis. Latin name: Phaseolus vulgaris. 60 days.
