Blue woodruff is one of my favorite self-sowing annuals. It blooms in May and June with fluffy, lavender-blue flowers.
Blue woodruff is a terrific companion plant for roses, shrubs and large perennials. It tolerates quite a bit of shade, and the flowers attract butterflies. Also known as Asperula azurea.
