This heirloom columbine has dark red, double flowers in late spring. The dark flowers are especially nice when contrasted with the silvery-green foliage of Digitalis 'Silver Fox' or Lychnis coronaria.
Columbine 'Ruby Port' has nice, tall stems for cutting, and they make it easy to see the flowers up close. Also called Granny's Bonnet. Hardy in zones 4-9.
