This heirloom columbine has dark red, double flowers in late spring. The dark color is lovely when contrasted with the silvery-green foliage of Digitalis 'Silver Fox' or Lychnis coronaria.
Columbine 'Ruby Port' has nice, tall stems for cutting, or for observing the flowers up close. Hardy in zones 4-9.
