Alyssum 'Carpet of Snow' is a vigorous and reliable old variety with masses of white flowers on wide-spreading plants. It has a light, sweet fragrance, and the tiny flowers attract many beneficial insects.
Use sweet alyssum for edging at the front of the border or along a path. It's also one of the best annuals for container plantings. It can be grown in full sun to part shade.
