This is one of the most popular and beautiful of all allium species. The dense flowering heads are packed with purple flowers, and the tall stems make them a real standout in the garden or the vase.
Allium aflatunense requires a longer period of cold-moist stratification than most alliums. Sow outdoors in the fall. Hardy in zones 3-9.
